He said that this victory will pave the path for the Aam Aadmi Party’s win in 2024 general elections.
He also commended the hard work of Kartarpur’s MLA Balkar Singh who is leading the campaign, in an exemplary manner, in his constituency for this by-poll. Other party office bearers, Gurwinder Singh Chairman Planning Board Tarn Taran, Block President Jujhar Singh, Sukhjinder Singh Sandhu, Yadwinder Singh, Dr. Mohinderjit Singh Marwa, were also present on this occasion where Barsat urged all the leaders to do door to door campaigns and to apprise people about the development work done by the Mann government in this region and the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Harchand Barsat said that AAP has fulfilled every promise made to Punjabis before the legislative assembly elections. Everyday new steps are being taken to tackle all these obstacles and to make the lives of common people as easy as possible.
Lamenting the opposition, parties especially Congress, Barsat said that the Congress government had wasted five years by saying that the state exchequer is empty. He also mentioned the stalled development works and the dilapidated condition of the roads in Jalandhar during the Congress regime.
On the other hand, citing the example of development projects worth crores started across the state including Jalandhar by Bhagwant Mann led AAP government, he said that if the intention is clear and honest, then everything is possible.
