Jock Zonfrillo has passed away at the age of 46. According to The Guardian, Mr. Zonfrillo’s family confirmed his passing on Monday, describing him as “our irreplaceable husband, father, brother, son, and friend” in a statement. No reason for death has been given yet the Victoria Police said it was not being treated as dubious, the power source additionally said. The new season of MasterChef Australia was canceled after Mr. Zonfrillo passed away, Network 10 informed The Guardian.
The chef’s family released a statement in which they stated, “We are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday. With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him,”
“There are so many stories and words that could be used to describe him, but at this point, we are too overwhelmed to put them into words. “When you have your next whisky, keep this proud Scot in your hearts for those who crossed his path, became his mate, or were fortunate enough to be his family,” the statement added.
Mrs. Zonfrillo and their four children survive Mr. Zonfrillo.
